HOW DOES IT ENCOURAGE STUDENT AND TEACHER COMMUNICATION?
Teachers place assignments on Noto and from there, students are able to see and mark them as complete. In addition, Noto boasts an easy to use messaging system which allows for both individual and mass messages from both teachers and students. This allows for constant and productive communication.
DOES THE PLANT REALLY HELP?
If you look on the app store, you will see countless apps dedicated to incentivizing various actions, from water consumption to lack of digital interaction. The success of these apps inspired us to include this feature on our own. We truly feel that the inclusion of this feature helps encourage students. However, if they prefer to not have the plant, they can turn it off in settings.
